NEW APP Release for
Village of Plain City!
The Village of Plain City is pleased to announce the release of a FREE mobile App that will provide the community with the most accurate and timely information concerning the Village and issues around the Village.
The app is FREE to download through your app store- simply search for: Village of Plain City.
One valuable feature is Push Notifications. Users can enable or disable notifications individually.
The Village will use this feature for alerts and announcements.
As the Village strives to improve customer service, we believe that this app will assist residents with access to pertinent information and help increase ease of communication.

Village Income Tax Information
New Village Income Tax Office!
On December 1st, Plain City said goodbye
to the Regional Income Tax Agency (RITA).
The Village has established its own Income Tax Department which will begin receiving tax forms and payments as of December 1, 2019.
The Income Tax Department will provide better taxpayer assistance and efficiency by having a local presence.
New tax forms for residents, businesses and employers are currently being created and will be made available on the Village website within the next few weeks.

During winter weather events, all vehicles should be removed from public streets to enable the Public Works Department to do a more efficient job of keeping our streets clear
Shovel your sidewalk - Under Village Code, property owners (both residents and business owners) are asked to clear snow and ice from sidewalks
When shoveling your driveway, do not shovel or push snow into the street or onto a sidewalk

Village Council Meetings
All Village Council meetings are held on the
second and fourth Mondays of each month
and are open to the public.
Council Work Sessions are held the
second Wednesday of each month.
Dates of these meetings are subject to change.

Beginning October 14, 2019 Village of Plain City building permits will be issued by the
Village of West Jefferson Building Dept.
The office is located at 28 East Main Street, West Jefferson.
